I think there's more interest in a friday night or saturday afternoon to evening crawl. Does that fit better in your schedule?
I'd recommend the first friday in august- up and down telegraph. That's also art murmur so it will be a night of craziness.

So, here is what I propose:
Bike Bar Crawl,
Friday AUGUST 4th, 7pm til ????
where do we meet? what places should we attempt to hit?

in a nutshell- It's the oakland Art Murmur that same night.
I figure we gather 6:30 or 7 at some place on telegraph, (kims backyard on telegraph at 25th), then meander from art gallery noshing on free wine and celery stix, then go to another bar or 2 then go up to the splitter for a snack, then figure out where to go form there.
but we are open to suggestions. hint. hint.
      and invite others, and crosspost.
      BYO Bike.
      or not.

there's another (like we need another- oh ok) Oakland bar tribe. that I posted the above to.

Q, Wally, and I witnessed the murmur this friday. It's anything but a murmur! tons of people streaming in and out of mama buzz, the electrician supply place turned art gallery (who says artist types are not part of gentrification?), RPS collective. A really cool drum circle erupted on 23rd st after they closed down the block. A photo expedition at Busan market netted Q and Wally an array of photos featuring mayonaise and Sweat drinks. Then we went up and up and up, making sure kims backyard didn't catch on fire like Wally pointed out, checked out the lone gallery before the 580 freeway with the halfpipe inside. We finished up at lanesplitter with a beer.

The Bike BQ was my favorite piece of performance art. more ideas for burningman......
