Hey all. If you're not already a member of Meetup.com, it's time to join up. I organize a weekly meetup called The Oakland Happy Hour. We meet every Thursday at 5:30 (it's OK to show up late or early) at a different pub, just to kick back with new and old friends, tip a few, and go home to our regular lives. Great way to ease into a weekend, and it's always BARTable. This week we are going to Cafe Van Kleef, downtown Oakland (19th St BART). Check out the web site - we are scheduled through the end of March. You can stop by to check us out before officially joining the group - no pressures. No charge to you, although a beer once in a while in appreciation of my efforts to organize this group will certainly be appreciated and accepted.
