  Downtown Oakland has a few spots that are fairly close to each other: Radio (13th and Franklin), Ruby Room (14th and Madison), Oasis (12th and Madison) and Cafe Van Kleef (Telegraph at 16th).

    yeah, Oasis is one of my faves.
    Tonight I'm checking out Fuego Fridays at Club Anton.

  it all depends on what type of music you like to listen to, i personally go to bar in castro valley, they play a wide range of music. there is also a few spots in berkely that are not to bad to chill and have a few beers
