Thu, May 25, 2006 - 12:29 PMit's pretty cool. nice bar and if the days sunnyy and warm nice patio area to hang out in. They had a dj, but not much place to dance if you were so inclined. The bartenders make a a decent drink as well. -

I just ate at Ichiban Japon on 14th(oakland) last night...it was awesome!! 4 people only $80 I drank like 4 large sakes too. Great sushi!! and Ichi the sushi chef was the best!! Ten stars

Thu, January 18, 2007 - 5:59 PMKitty's is allot of fun. Kitty is a local DJ from KALX. Dj's like Mathew Afrika, allso from KALX, spin some really cool music. The drinks are good but not fantastic. The bartenders are super yummy, so if it takes a little longer for them to make a drink I am not complaining! But I have never had to wait very long. -

You have to be a little pushy no matter what your sex sometimes to get the bartenders attention. And remember men do have a chest, some have man boobs. Next time show some cleavage and see what happens! hehehe -

Thu, May 25, 2006 - 3:20 PMIt's really close to my work, so I've been there a handful of times during the week. Cool place--I'd definitely recommend it. I've caught some good dj sets there which range from 70's funk/soul to downtempo/jazz to 80's. I've noticed that the place gets livlier around 9:00 - 10:00, when the music goes on. The drinks were hit or miss at first, but they seem to have gotten better. But then again, I usually just order vodka tonics.
Went once at night on the weekend--I'll never make that mistake again! It was packed and had a totally different vibe. -

Sun, May 28, 2006 - 3:42 PMI was there friday around 10:30- pretty full of pretty people, mixed college/post college age crowd. current hiphop stuff. Beer was cheap, mixed drinks were not, tequilas were not either.
I gather on fri and sat nights you don't go there for the drinks. It's more of a place to see and be scene. -

If you had to wait to be ignored despite being taller than the average bear, I would say the bar keep is not all that good. Hope the drinks were stiff. -

Cute bartenders the last time I was there, but I only go during the week so there isn't a huge crowd. Never seen an athletic shirt boycott and don't believe she would put it up. Its primarily whities from the condo's down the street.
